Women’s Economic Empowerment Program
The Women’s Economic Empowerment Program is designed to support women facing economic vulnerability by providing them with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to build sustainable livelihoods and achieve long-term independence.
Many women in underserved communities lack access to financial resources, education, and opportunities that would allow them to support themselves and their families. This program addresses those gaps through a holistic and practical approach that combines immediate support with long-term capacity building.
Targeted Financial Assistance
We provide direct financial support to women in need, helping them stabilize their situations, meet essential needs, and take the first steps toward economic recovery and growth.
Financial Literacy & Cash Management Training
Participants receive practical training in budgeting, saving, and responsible financial decision-making. These sessions strengthen financial literacy and help women develop healthy money management habits that support long-term stability.
Pathways to Income-Generating Activities
We guide women toward income-generating opportunities by supporting small businesses, entrepreneurship initiatives, and vocational activities suited to their skills and local contexts. The goal is to help women move from dependency to self-reliance.
Program Goal
To break cycles of vulnerability and empower women to achieve lasting economic independence, dignity, and confidence-benefiting not only the women themselves, but also their families and communities.
Through this program, The Ethan Foundation invests in women as key drivers of social and economic change, fostering resilience and sustainable development at the community level.
